Conventional silicas require drying of the oil in order to achieve optimal performance. However, going into bleaching with dry oil reduces the efficiency of the bleaching clay to remove chlorophyll and color bodies.
 
SD - Select does not require drying of the oil to achieve optimal performance which results in a more efficient removal of chlorophyll and color bodies in bleaching regardless of the type of bleaching clay.
